Sarah's Adoption Timeline

May 2005- started process to adopt again from Kazakhstan
Summer/Fall 2005- delayed adoption until my mom and I decided if we were actually going to live together
March 2006- started homestudy
April 25, 2006- decided to look into adopting from China
April 27, 2006- saw my first pictures of Sarah
May 5, 2006- accepted referral of Sarah
May 23, 2006- sent in LOI (letter of intent to CCAA to adopt Sarah)
July 12, 2006- received PA (preliminary approval from the CCAA)
August 25, 2006- agency has my complete dossier
August 28, 2006- DTC!! (dossier to China)
September 20, 2006- LID (log-in date)
December 11, 2006- received TA (travel approval)
January 10, 2007- Mom, Katie, and I leave for China
January 14, 2007- We meet Sarah (28 months old)
January 24, 2007- We return home!! (14 day trip)
